Shawn Reynolds – Owner / Director
Shawn brings 17 years of experience and enthusiasm to Lytton Park Tennis. He founded his 1st Jr. Tennis Academy at Laurentian University while completing his honours degree in Physical and Health Education. Based on this experience Shawn launched Lytton Park Tennis 5 years ago at a small three court club. Today he directs multiple indoor and outdoor locations across Toronto, throughout the entire season. Shawn believes that patience, enthusiasm and encouragement can be the difference between a child playing tennis just one time or embracing tennis for a lifetime.
Adib Raza:
Adib is a motivated coordinator who began his Lytton Park career 3 years ago. His mission is simple: ensure that the kids have fun, learn new strategies for their games, and play safe. Adib is a varsity team member at York University and earned the Ontario University Athletics in 2001. Adib manages a terrific tennis program and Lytton Park is lucky to have Adib as a location coordinator.
Grant Richardson:
Although Grant is a new coordinator to our Gwendolen location he has been a part of Lytton Park Tennis for the last 2 years. Currently attending Queen's University, Grant has extensive working experience with children of all ages. Grant attended his 1st tennis camp at the age of 6 and he hasn't put down a racquet since! Grants love of tennis and his enthusiasm makes him an invaluable asset to Lytton Park.
Alison Little:
We are thrilled to have Alison with us for the fourth consecutive year. Alison has been playing tennis for the last 19 years and has been a certified instructor with the Tennis Professionals Association of Tennis Canada for the last 7 years. Alison is wonderful with children and knows how to make learning a new skill fun and exciting. She is easy to find on the courts - she's the one often dancing and singing.

Our Tennis Instructors:
Lytton Park Tennis instructors are all experienced and trained tennis professionals that are chosen not just for their extensive tennis backgrounds, but also because of their energetic and positive personalities. Most of our instructors have played tennis competitively and/or have college tennis experience. In addition, all Lytton Park Tennis instructors are friendly, patient and excited to teach your child. The best tennis experience starts with a great instructor and we promise to provide you with skilled and helpful instructors that will guide your child through their training.
Lytton Park Tennis Instructors for Beginner to Intermediate Players:
When young students are learning something new like tennis, it can be very intimidating. However, by having the right instructor who is patient, encouraging and keeps the lesson exciting, it can be one of the best sport experiences your child could have! With positive tennis lessons, students gain confidence and become lifelong tennis players.
Our Tennis instructors are trained to teach tennis in a clear and easy manner so that our students can quickly start playing tennis. All of our tennis instructors have years of tennis playing and teaching experience. More importantly, our staff will make your children feel comfortable even if it’s their first lesson.
Lytton Park Tennis Instructors for Advanced Players:
Lytton Park Tennis Instructors are all experienced players who will challenge your advanced player. This is accomplished through advanced fitness, footwork and hitting drills. Players will also engage in cooperative and mini match play games to challenge their skills against similar players. All of this is done in a fun and playful environment that will keep your tennis player eager to return for more. |
